Known from around Yangambi (Ref. 4910, 42033), Tshuapa and Lomela (Ref. 41580), Itimbiri, Aruwimi (Ref. 106290, Lindi-Tshopo (Ref. 42183, 106290), Lomami, Wagenia rapids (Ref. 106245) and Kasai (Ref. 41591). Other collection specimens originate from the Sankuru (see Ref. 12818). Note that the specimens in MRAC collection from Zambi, collected by Collart (reported in Ref. 41590) are reidentified as Amphilius lamani in the MRAC database (T. Musschoot pers. comm.). Report from the Chiloango (Ref. 41590) is not confirmed in Ref. 81646; these specimens may represent A. nigricaudatus although this species is not reported up to the Chiloango in Ref. 81646. Also Ref. 3818. |
